Councilperson Cornwell made a motion to accept the invoices and payments as read Councilperson Johnson seconded the motion. The invoices and payments have been presented and accepted. All in favor 5 yes 0 no. Motion carried.

• Budget reviewed as well as NBT Account balances.

Misc. information to the Town Clerk:
• Sales tax for the month of SEP $9,255.77
• Wal-Mart volunteerism check $250.00 (George Huff)
• Email from Deb Whiteman requesting money for Biddy Basketball tournament
• Supervisor Garretson presented a map of a solar farm going in the Town of Minden

Community Center/Alden Field and Park:
• Biddy basketball practices have begun for the upcoming season
• Open Basketball Wednesday nights from 7-9
• Rentals are up for weekends in December

Village:
• Town and Village board minutes online @ cherryvalleyny.us

Highway Department:
• Supervisor Garretson presented the Mine permit to Highway Superintendent Miles for review and discussion
• Updated Snow and Ice Contract presented to Highway Superintendent Miles by Supervisor Garretson.
• NYS Dept of Transportation equipment rental rate schedule presented to Highway Superintendent Miles by Supervisor Garretson.

Town of Cherry Valley 2018 Preliminary Budget is presented to the Town Board for adoption;
Motion to adopt the 2018 Preliminary Budget is made by Councilperson VanDerWerker, 2nd Councilperson Johnson. All in favor 5 yes 0 no motion carried.
