The regular meeting of the Town Board of Cherry Valley was held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 with meeting called to order at 7:00PM by Supervisor Garretson.

Councilperson VanDerWerker made a motion to accept the invoices and payments as presented, Councilperson Cornwell seconded the motion. The invoices and payments have been presented and accepted. All in favor 4 yes 0 no

Presentation of Invoices and Payments:
• Budget reviewed as well as NBT Account balances.

Misc. information to the Town Clerk:
• Sales tax for the month of FEB $5,139.98
• County Treasurer Snow and Ice for AUG-DEC 2018 $41,725.57

Community Center Alden Field and Park:
• Spring Fling Dodge ball tournament was last week
• Cub Scouts had their Pine Wood Derby
• Little League teams will be using the gym until the weather breaks

Facility Corp:
• Jim Johnson reported there is a meeting Tuesday night to discuss the Senior Living. Some of the money for this project has been received.

Highway Department:
• Truck chassis should be done around July 1 and then scheduled for August to go in for the body
• Mowers and brushes to sweep the roads will be here soon.

Councilperson Cornwell opened the discussion regarding the problem on County Route 34A/Chestnut Street. Supervisor Garretson spoke with the Town Attorney today and he advised the Town Health Officer do an inspection of the situation and files a report with the Town. Further discussions will be held regarding the next step to solving this issue. Several land laws are being violated and the issue will need to be addressed.

Councilperson Cornwell stated the County Health Department drove to the property but refused to go onto the property.
