The regular meeting of the Town Board of Cherry Valley was held on Thursday July 09, 2020 with meeting called to order at 7:00PM by Supervisor Garretson.

Councilperson VanDerwerker made a motion to accept the invoices and payments as presented, Councilperson Waterfield seconded the motion. The invoices and payments have been presented and accepted. All in favor 5 yes 0 no

Presentation of Invoices and Payments:
• Budget reviewed as well as NBT Account balances.

Misc. information to the Town Clerk:
• Sales Tax for the month of MAY check from the County $4,155.88
• Mortgage Tax for OCT 2019 $5,818.83
• Snow and Ice check for OCT-MAY 2020 $45,890.06
• Letter received from NYSR June 9, 2020 notifying the Town they have received Nicole VanDerwerker’s ROA (record of activity)
• Schedule Public Hearing August 13 for the Spectrum Agreement.

Community Center Alden Field and Park:
• Community Center remains closed due to COVID 19 pandemic.
• Blood Drive scheduled for July 30

Health Center:
• Nothing new to report

Progress of the senior living project continues.

Received notification from the Mayor the recyclable bins are becoming a dumping ground.

Highway Department:
• The reservoir for the gas tanks is full of water and producing a foul odor that the next door neighbors are exposed to. A roof with a vent will be placed over the reservoir to prevent water collection in the future.
• A demolition saw was requested by the HDS Fields. Councilperson VanDerwerker gave a quote to him for a demolition saw from his place of employment.
• CHIPS money came through.

Public Questions, Comments and concerns…………..2 minute limit per request
Gary and Barb Hall were present regarding the highway gas reservoir odor situation.
