The invoices and payments have been presented and accepted. All in favor 5 yes 0 no Presentation of Invoices and Payments: • Budget reviewed as well as NBT Account balances. Misc. information to the Town Clerk: • Sales Tax for the month of AUG check from the County $7,578.86 • The Town Clerk received a message from Tammy Saba regarding new dogs moving into the Village and not picking up after their dogs. A discussion was held by the Town Board and this seems to be a Village issue and should be brought forward to the Village Board. This would be difficult to monitor. Community Center Alden Field and Park: • Gym and conference room remains closed with the exception of a Blood Drive and Election Day. Health Center: • Supervisor Garretson states the health center is doing fine. The health center is addressing ventilation at the health center to meet COVID recommendations. Town Planning Board: • Councilperson Waterfield is waiting for the Draft Solar Law to be reviewed by the other members of the Board. Village: Town and Village Board Minutes and info- www.cherryvalleyny.us Highway Department: • The new truck is in Watertown currently waiting for the box and hydraulics to be installed. DRAFT ONLY TB MEETING OCTOBER 08, 2020 • Highway Superintendent Field was able to catch up to the dumpster guy and asked him to clean off the top of his cab before driving down the road and spreading garbage from the dumpsters to the village. Resolution 2020-9 Otsego County Snow and Ice Contract 2020-2023 Motion to adopt Resolution 2020-8 is made by Councilperson VanDerwerker and seconded by Councilperson Waterfield. Roll call vote is taken: Supervisor Garretson-yes, Councilperson Johnson-yes, Councilperson VanDerwerker, Councilperson Cornwell-yes and Councilperson Waterfield-yes 5-yes 0-no Resolution 2020-9 is adopted. Supervisor Garretson presented the Preliminary Budget for 2021 to the Town Board for their review. Public Questions, Comments and concerns…………..2 minute limit per request Phil and Leila Durkin presented a signed petition by residents of County Route 50, Center Valley, Palmer Road and Hoose Road to the Town Board regarding the existence of a motocross/ATV track at 1243 County Highway 50. They are requesting the Town Planning Board revisit the town’s Land Use Regulations.
