The invoices and payments have been presented and accepted. All in favor 4 yes 0 no Presentation of Invoices and Payments: • Budget reviewed as well as NBT Account balances. Misc. information to the Town Clerk: • Sales Tax for the month of FEB check from the County $5,378.15 • Otsego County Treasurer Snow & Ice $15,908.07 • Dog report for January 2019-March 2021 Community Center Alden Field and Park: • Gym remains closed until the ceiling and roof can be inspected. Town Planning Board: • Councilperson Waterfield gave a brief update of her conversations/meetings with Nan Stolzenburg and expect to have a draft Solar Law for review by the May meeting. Hopeful to have the Public Hearing, County review and enactment by July or August. Village: • Town and Village Board Minutes and info- www.cherryvalleyny.us Highway Department: • Highway Superintendent Field reported the new truck has some issues with the box liner already pitted. HSField contacted Henderson to see if this can be addressed under warranty. • Measured a bunch of roads for paving. • Martin presented the board with prices for a new tractor. DRAFT ONLY TB MEETING APRIL 08, 2021 • New Town employee, Tom is working out very well. • Motion is made by Councilperson Cornwell to purchase the new tractor as presented, 2nd by Councilperson VanDewerker. All in favor 4 yes 0 no. Motion carried Supervisor Garretson reported on the American Rescue Plan. The Town will receive the money $2,13790.00. This money is not to be used for retirement. This money is earmarked for thing such as; lost wages, maintaining roads, etc. during and after COVID. Federal/State/County • Dave Bliss County Rep is in attendance at tonight’s meeting. Public Questions, Comments and concerns…………..2 minute limit per request Andy Minnig inquired about a Code Enforcement officer’s expertise. Would this be a shared service and how much would it cost? This will be addressed with Nan Stolzenburg. Phil Durkin thanked the Board for keeping the discussion going regarding the issues on County Route 50 current and things seemed to have settled down from a year ago. Frank McGrath inquired about progress towards Broadband services for the Town. SG stated Spectrum is out and about laying lines. Dave Bliss, County Rep stated there has been some issues with Spectrum recognizing addresses that are eligible for their services. Mr. McGrath inquired if there is a map of which residences Spectrum is planning on installing services to? Mr. McGrath is asking if the Board, as a government entity, can draft a letter to ask these questions? Councilperson Waterfield stated she would write a letter to Spectrum.
