Presentation of Invoices and Payments:
• Budget reviewed as well as NBT Account balances.

Misc. information to the Town Clerk:
• Sales tax for the month of SEP $11,125.39
• Discussion held regarding ads run in The Daily Star for vacancies in the Town is expensive as The Daily Star runs these ads on Monster, Twitter etc. Next time a vacancy needs to be advertised the Town Clerk will request publication only in The Daily Star and not on any extra media publication.
• Magna 5 telephone company is now SpectroTel
• Notification from Otsego County with new fees for TV’s that are left a at the dump area.

Community Center Alden Field and Park:
• Biddy Basket ball program has started.
• Friday night soccer and Wednesday night open basketball are currently going on.
• Cub Scouts is trying to recruit and perhaps hold their meetings in the conference room.

Health Center:
• Health Center Budget is distributed to the Board

Miscellaneous updates:
• Will Green request the tax map numbers for the parking lot in the Village.

Highway Department:
• Motion made by Councilperson VanDerwerker to have the Town Highway Superintendent Miles to pursue specs for a new plow truck 2nd by Councilperson Cornwell. All in favor 5 yes 0 no Motion carried.
• Motion made by Councilperson Waterfield to seek information on a good used replacement Gradall under $50,000 and seconded by Councilperson VanDerwerker. All in favor 5-yes and 0-no
• Derek Utter is the new employee hired by the Town Highway Department
• Request from Darie and Rosada Utter to have the County put up Amish signs along the County Road near their house.

Motion to approve the Town of Cherry Valley 2020 budget as presented is made by Councilperson VanDerwerker and 2nd by Councilperson Cornwell. All in favor 5-yes 0-no

• Email from Chris Barown to move phone service from Magana5 to SpectrolTel to save money. Motion is made by Councilperson Cornwell to move from Magna 5 to Spectrum Tel 2nd by Councilperson VanDerwerker all in favor 4 yes 0 no Motion carried.
• Supervisor Garretson is working with the Town attorney on the transfer of the Parking Lot property to the Village.

• Superintendent Miles reported they are ready for winter weather.

Preliminary Budget for 2020 is distributed to the Town Board as well as the Town Clerk.

Resolution 2019-5 Estoppel Notice for 2019 Volvo Truck Motion to adopt Resolution 2019-5 is made by Councilperson Cornwell and 2nd by Councilperson Johnson. Roll call vote is taken: Supervisor Garretson-yes, Councilperson Johnson-yes, Councilperson VanDerwerker-yes and Councilperson Cornwell-yes. 4 yes 0 no. This Resolution will be posted outside the Clerk’s office for 30 days. Resolution 2019-5 duly carried.

Resolution 2019-6 ROA for Nicole VanDerwerker Motion to adopt Resolution 2019-6 is made by Councilperson Johnson 2nd by Councilperson VanDerwerker. Roll call vote is taken: Supervisor Garretson-yes, Councilperson Johnson-yes, Councilperson VanDerwerker-yes and Councilperson Cornwell. 4 yes 0 no Resolution 2019-6 is duly carried.
