The regular meeting of the Town Board of Cherry Valley was held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 with meeting called to order at 7:00PM by Supervisor Garretson.

Councilperson Johnson made a motion to accept the invoices and payments as read Councilperson VanDerWerker seconded the motion. The invoices and payments have been presented and accepted. All in favor 3 yes 0 no. Motion carried.
Presentation of Invoices and Payments:
• Budget reviewed as well as NBT Account balances.
Misc. information to the Town Clerk:
• Sales tax for the month of APR $6,263.33
• Treasurer of Otsego County Mortgage tax OCT 2017-MAR 2018 $4,712.51
• Roy Teitsworth, Inc $46,600 for the sale of the loader
• Supervisor Garretson received a call from a Company working with the CVSCSchool to install solar panels up at the school. About 20-25 acres of solar panels. Co. will keep Supervisor Garretson informed of the progress.
• CV Hardware asked to purchase a small piece of land from the Town that adjoins the CV Hardware’s property from the Town parking lot.
Community Center Alden Field and Park:
• Supervisor Garretson received an email from Jane Sapinsky of Cherry Valley Artworks asking if the Town will cover the rental fee for the Community Center rental for September 21 and September 22 Kite Fest usage. Motion made by Councilperson Johnson to cover the rental fee for CV Artworks kite fest rental in September, 2nd by Councilperson VanDerWerker. All in favor 3 yes 0 no.
• Cherry Valley Outdoor Games is this coming weekend which is also Father’s Day
Highway Department:
• Highway Superintendent Miles reported mine permit is completed and submitted.
Federal/State/County:
• County Rep Bliss reported on County Business.
Councilperson VanDerWerker asked Supervisor Garretson if he had heard anything regarding the Planning Board. A short discussion ensued. To be continued at a future meeting.
Village:

Resolution 2018-6 Amendment for Snow and Ice Adjustment
Motion to accept Resolution 2018-6 made by Councilperson VanDerWerker, 2nd by Councilperson Johnson. Roll Call vote taken: Supervisor Garretson-yes, Councilperson Johnson-yes and Councilperson VanDerWerker-yes 3-yes 0-no
Question and comments by the public present:
Andy Minig reminded all to stop by the Democratic picnic on June 30 at the old CV Village Hall starting at noon.
