Councilperson Johnson made a motion to accept the invoices and payments as presented, Councilperson Cornwell seconded the motion. The invoices and payments have been presented and accepted. All in favor 3 yes 0 no
Presentation of Invoices and Payments:
• Budget reviewed as well as NBT Account balances
Misc. information to the Town Clerk:
• Otsego County Sales Tax for the month of JUN $7,991.45
• Otsego County Snow and Ice (1/24-4/24) $44,782.76
Community Center Alden Field and Park:
• Sporadic rental dates for July
• Supervisor Garretson got a hold of Spectrum to install WiFi in the conference room. He is waiting to hear back from Spectrum to schedule a date to install.
Village:
• Town and Village Board Minutes and info- www.cherryvalleyny.us
Town Planning:
• Frank McGrath and Cierra Utter gave an update on the current Solar project. Carson will be attending the August JPB meeting.
Public Questions, Comments and concerns…………..2 minute limit per request
Andy Minnig reports he is still having issues with Liz Keller’s Dog Rescue Business. If the Town isn’t going to hire a code enforcement officer to enforce the current Dog laws then the Town should amend the Dog law to not have certain sections that cannot be enforced. He is very discouraged with how this is being handled.
Motion made by Councilperson Cornwell to go into executive session for a personnel issue 2nd by Councilperson Johnson at 7:47PM. Tape recorder turned off.
Motion to close executive session made by Councilperson Cornwell 2nd by Councilperson Johnson. Executive session ended at 8:05PM
Highway Department:
• Highway superintendent reported the Town was accepted for Bridge of New York 1.94 million dollars.
Motion made by Councilperson Cornwell to adjourn the meeting 2nd by Councilperson Johnson.
There being no further business meeting adjourned at 8:11PM.
Next Town Board meeting will be Thursday, August 08, 2024 7:00PM
