SPECIAL TB meeting August 25, 2011
The Special Town Board meeting was opened at 7:45PM.
Pledge to the Flag was said.
Roll call of Officers was taken:
Tom Garretson Supervisor P
Mark Cornwell Councilperson P
Jim Johnson Councilperson P
Tim Horvath Councilperson P
Chris Barown Councilperson P
Mary Beth Flint Town Clerk P
One (1) sealed bid was received for the Visitor Center construction. This bid was from Boland’s Excavating and Topsoil, Inc. 1403 Milburn Drive Conklin, NY 13748.
The Town Board rejected the bid. The project will need to be re-bid at a later date.
A discussion ensued with Ken Baldwin, architect with Foit-Albert Architects. Mr. Baldwin will need to take a look at the project and follow up with the Town Board.
A motion was made by Councilperson Horvath to close the meeting and seconded by Councilperson Cornwell. Meeting closed at 8:35PM.
