Public Questions, Comments and concerns…………..2 minute limit per request

TheriJo Snyder, Cherry Valley Springfield Superintendent, is requesting use of the Community Center gym for the modified basketball team practices for the months of November, December, January and a couple of weeks in February, due to limited gym time at the school.  The JV and Varsity basketball practices take up much of the time and space currently.  She is asking for practice time from 3-4:45 M-Th only when school is in session.  Mary Beth Flint, Community Center Director will work with TheriJo to get these practices scheduled as well as a fee for the time used.

She is also asking to have sand bags placed on the goals down on Alden Field so the goals do not blow away and or fall over.  Referred her to Jonathan Ackerman to address this issue.

Motion made by Councilperson Cornwell to adjourn the meeting 2nd by Councilperson VanDerwerker

There being no further business meeting adjourned at 7:25PM.

Next Town Board meeting and Public Hearing will be Thursday, November 09, 2023 7:00PM
